*Every Green Canopy Home comes with an energy performance score (EPS) that gives the homeowner a description of how much energy the home will consume under normal use. The score, which measures energy usage in terms of kilowatt hours (kWh) per year and tons of carbon used per year, is an effective tool to determine the energy efficiency of the home.

Green Canopy Homes performs an EPS both before and after construction. By getting two scores, we are able to demonstrate the operating cost benefit to new homeowners. Since we use a third-party auditor for all Green Canopy Homes, buyers have confidence the scores are an accurate representation of the efficiency upgrades our construction team made to the home.
