The Simone house is named after the famed existentialist philosopher, Simone De Beauvoir who was borne the same year that this home broke ground. Located at the edge of the beautiful Leschi neighborhood, Simone is within walking distance to local shops, restaurants and entertainment. The team at Green Canopy is excited to rebuild this neat fixer, and have debated whether or not we should bring back its electric blue shag carpet! This classic Victorian will undergo a full replacement of all electrical and plumbing systems and bring the structure up to date. This project will be a bold blend of old and new with a 400sf ultra-modern master bedroom addition on the East side of the property, creating a perfect sanctuary. All new windows will seal this drafty home as well as open up views in the upper story bedrooms.
